Cracked Up [Jan. 9th, 2007|01:01 pm]
That Christian Parody Band

ApologetiX has been saving up their "damaged goods" for this special sale that will be going on until next week, it's a great chance to get a CD you may not have at a cheap price so go check it out! :-D

ApologetiX CDs for only $4.99 each? Are we cracked? No, just the CD cases are. But the CDs, booklets and tray cards are in great shape.

As you may have noticed, CD cases are not made of the sturdiest material in the world. Consequently, over time we accumulate a number of ApologetiX CDs in stock with cracked cases. Every once in a while, we'll sell them at a ridiculously low price to the our fans online.

We haven't run a cracked-case sale for a long time (the last time was February 2006), so we've accumulated quite a few. But at $4.99, they'll go very fast, so this offer will only last until next Monday, January 15, at 11:59 p.m. EST.

This is the lowest price we've ever sold our CDs for online. The cases are in various stages of disrepair, but everything else is fine. You can buy empty CD cases inexpensively at your local office-supply store if you need them. Of course, if you like to put CDs in binders, you don't even need a case.

Although supplies are very limited, there's no risk. If we accept your order and run out of damaged stock on a title, we'll fill it with the same title in a non-cracked case.

To find out what's available and place an order, go to our online store now:

Rock out, Karl-style! [Dec. 26th, 2006|03:50 pm]
That Christian Parody Band

[mood |busy]
[music |Nights in White Satin - Moody Blues]

This is a pretty amazing prize drawing, Karl's first guitar!! Who wouldn't want to sit around plucking away at it like they were really in concert like the man himself? Join the drawing and maybe you'll find yourself in possession of this awesome relic.

Get anything in our online store and Karl might give you his first real electric guitar.

"One order chosen at random will win the red Yamaha RGX I've had since 1986," says Karl. "I've played it in concert since '93 and have used it on most of our CDs, including 'Sweet Oholibama' from Adam Up and most recently the 'dive' at 1:50 in 'Somebody Sold Me' from Wordplay. I love this guitar. It was given to me as my first real electric guitar by a guitar mentor who thought I could learn more if I had a 'sweet guitar.' He spent his whole paycheck at Pittsburgh's musical Mecca, 'Pianos n Stuff' and surprised me with it. Since then several fans (Mike S., Dave B., Bruce B., John T. and Gerry D.) have given me great guitars to record with, so I wanted to give one back to the fans. "

Order more often, and increase your chances. We pick the winner Wed., January 3, at 11:59 p.m.

In case you missed the last sale... [Dec. 15th, 2006|12:08 pm]
That Christian Parody Band

[mood |cheerfulcheerful]

ApologetiX has a new sale opportunity for you to snag some swag with your pre-ordering of their newest CD "Wordplay", here are the details straight from the man himself (J):

Get an autographed copy of our new "Wordplay" CD, plus our "Hits: The Road" CD, and an exclusive new ApologetiX button for only $14.99. And we'll throw in free Priority Mail shipping.

That's right ... Priority Mail shipping is included in the price (for all orders shipped within the United States).

Your total cost is $14.99 for our two latest CDs and the button, which features a cool photo of the entire band and won't be available anywhere else until later in 2007. Check out a picture of it on our homepage.

Of course, the sooner you order, the sooner your order gets to you. Reminder: There are 10 days till Christmas.

I'm going to guess the sale ends Christmas Eve, which is December 24th. That button looks pretty nifty but I'm going to have to wait until it comes on sale next year (not enough money for the set). It would look awesome with the rest of the buttons on my bag! XD

My husband and I were at a friend's house, and they showed us their "Samson Comes Alive" DVD. I was very impressed and the next day I had one of their songs on my MySpace! I would definitely like to get their CDs.
